Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson wins our Week 16 Ground-and-Pound Award following his 95 yard, 3 touchdown performance against the division rival Seattle Seahawks.

The Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks both pride themselves on strong defenses, but this one turned into a bit of a shootout. David Johnson started the firing with this 1st quarter touchdown plunge:

And helped seal the deal with this 4th quarter run:

With two 4th quarter touchdown runs, Johnson helped preserve a Cardinals win and hold off a vicious Seahawks comeback attempt led by our Week 16 Air It Out Award winner, Russell Wilson.

David Johnson now has 1,233 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns with another 841 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air. With 20 total touchdowns on the season, David Johnson now holds the Arizona Cardinals franchise record for most touchdowns in a single season. Fantasy owners have come to expect ridiculous games from him week in, week out, and 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 20 total touchdowns tells you why.

The sophomore sensation has been a consistent spark plug for the Cardinals after coming into the league last year. Johnson has become not only a key member of the Cardinals offense, but also one of the best running backs in the league. His impact is being recognized with a trip to the Pro Bowl this year.

Despite 2016 turning into a surprisingly disappointing season for the Cardinals (6-8-1), David Johnson has remained dominant. Congrats to Johnson on the Week 16 performance and the Pro Bowl season!
