Bring It Down Award – Week 6: Odell Beckham, Jr.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. catches a long touchdown pass before kicking net proposal

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. takes home this week’s Bring It Down Award after his 8 catch, 222 yard, 2 touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens.

Voting was a little less active than past weeks, as we moved our voting from Twitter onto our site for the first time. If you didn’t get to vote this week, look for our article to vote at the end of Week 7.

The Ravens bottled up Beckham for only 11 yards on two catches in the first half, but after halftime Beckham got loose. This was a particularly conflicting game for me, personally. As a Odell Beckham fantasy owner, I was ecstatic about the monster day Beckham ended up having. But as a life-long Ravens fan, watching Beckham break free for long touchdowns and kicking net proposals was extremely frustrating. Regardless of how painful it was for me to watch at times, this was a beautiful showing of how quickly OBJ can take over a game. He really is one of the most explosive, dominant wide receivers in the NFL today. Beckham is on currently on pace for 1,549 yards for the year.

Congrats to OBJ on a huge day that carried the Giants to a win. Here’s the big highlights from Beckham’s big day.
